Elisa Tenenbaum
Born in Tennessee and raised in Atlanta, Elisa Tenenbaum received her M.F.A. from the University of Hartford, and remained in Connecticut working as an illustrator, fine artist and professor of art at Central Connecticut State University.
Her illustrations have appeared in the New York Times, The Boston Globe, The Philadelphia Inquirer, and numerous other publications, advertising brochures, billboards, books, and product labels.
She has had several solo and selected exhibitions in Boston, Santa Fe, Chicago and Philadelphia, and has participated in over 75 other group exhibitions throughout the U.S. Her work is in over 250 private and corporate collections.
Currently she lives and works in Pennington, New Jersey and is represented by Morpeth Gallery in Hopewell, New Jersey.
Archived Works
This selection pieces and series were chosen from forty years of images. The works were created using a variety of media – oil paint, photo-emulsion, pencil, and charcoal on a variety of substrates. All works are in private, public, and corporate collections.
